The International Strategy Scholarship (ISS), the first initiative of its kind within the advertising and marketing industry, was launched in 2013 to address a gap within the strategy and planning sector with the long-term ambition of boosting Singapore’s position as a world-class marketing and communications hub.
Under the Scholarship, three selected candidates will begin their training at BBH Asia Pacific (Singapore) and complete their training in BBH London over a period of 14 months. During that time, the recruits will be mentored by the best minds in the business, learn the ins and outs of an advertising agency, as well as working on both local and global business.
Upon completion of the 14 month training period, recruits will be able to take up a full time junior planning position with BBH in Singapore.
The International Strategy Scholarship is supported by the Strategic Attachment and Training (STRAT) Programme. The STRAT programme is an initiative by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) to build up key manpower capabilities in Singapore’s workforce for emerging sectors and activities, through overseas attachment and training with leading companies.
The grant is open to undergraduates who are Singapore citizens and permanent residents of Singapore.
