University College London (UCL) and GovInsider have joined forces to launch a new scholarship programme, empowering people across Asia Pacific to study science, technology, engineering and public policy.
UCL’s Department of Science, Technology, Engineering and Public Policy (STEaPP) provides a unique course that enables public policy students to learn how to tackle challenges such as global warming, energy access, cyber security and urban infrastructure.
The scholarship is a fee-only award, and will reduce the advertised programme fee by £10,000 (S$18,000). It is an excellent opportunity to form international relationships and career changing connections, and be part of GovInsider’s global network of public service innovators.
How to apply
To be eligible for consideration for the scholarship, a candidate must have applied and been offered a place on one of the 2018/19 STEaPP Master’s of Public Administration (MPA) programmes by no later than 23 March 2018.
As a part of their application, each candidate is requested to include a one page outline on:
- how your academic and professional background will help you to meet the demands of this challenging programme
- how the award of a GovInsider STEaPP Scholarship would help you to achieve your career aspirations.
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by GovInsider and STEaPP representatives during April 2018, with the chosen scholar being announced shortly after.
Applicants for any of the 5 STEaPP MPA programmes are eligible.
