UK-based insurer Aviva has launched a scholarship programme for students in Asia, allowing them to study in Britain.
The programme is available in the following markets: mainland China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam and is open to all Aviva customers and their children, allowing them to study in applicable undergraduate and graduate courses in 11 universities in the UK:
- City, University of London
- Durham University
- Northumbria University, Newcastle
- University of Birmingham
- University of Bristol
- University of Dundee
- University of Kent
- University of Leicester
- University of Liverpool
- University of Stirling
- York St John University
Applications open on 6 September 2017 alongside the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) process, and the first group of scholars is expected to matriculate in autumn 2018.
Aviva will also offer summer internship opportunities to selected scholars, and consider them for Aviva’s Global Graduate Programme. Further details on the scholarship programme, as well as the online application form, can be found on this dedicated website.
