Located at SAFRA Toa Payoh, Taekwodonomics Pte Ltd provides professional taekwondo lessons for children and adults through a progressive methodology. With a team of award-winning coaches – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Dan Blackbelt graded, quality of training is assured through small class ratios (maximum 1:10), ample practice space (1,600 square feet) and personalised attention. Led by Mr Thomson Tan – with over thirty years of taekwondo experience and presently a 5th Dan instructor, the team at Taekwondonomics blends passion for children and taekwondo through the programmes offered.

Affiliated and recognized by professional bodies – Singapore Sports Council, Singapore Taekwondo Federation, Singapore National Olympic Council, World Taekwondo Federation and Singapore Schools Sports Council, Taekwondonomics also prepares students for official grading and competitions. Poomsae, Kyroguri, Plank Breaking, Unarmed Combat, Sports Taekwondo and Demonstrations all involve precise practice and execution and provide measurable standards of progress for students and parents alike.

Programmes Offered

Super Junior Taekwondo
For the curious and hyper-active young, we recommend this class to stimulate the mind, develop hands, legs and eyes co-ordination, achieve physical fitness through active participation, through play and enjoy Taekwondo. Games Approach.
Age: From 3 years to 5 years 11 months
Aim: Discover strengths and weaknesses

Kids Taekwondo
Structured programme according to Singapore Taekwondo Federation syllabus. Grading system to achieve Jr Blackbelt and beyond. For serious and achievement oriented students who wish to excel in this Korean sport and to participate in demonstrations and tournaments in future.
Age: From 6 years to 14 years old
Aim: Achieve Junior Blackbelt and beyond

Pace Challenger
Parents and children can discover more about Taekwondo and achieve grades simultaneously in this joint training programme. This programme will target families who aim to progress in this challenging sport to keep pace with each other.
Age: From 5 years and above. Any combination of parent/child. Minimum 3 in family.
Aim: Parent and child interactive and bonding taekwondo

Executive Adult Taekwondo
Structured programme according to Singapore Taekwondo Federation syllabus. Grading system to achieve Senior Blackbelt and beyond. Gradings can be arranged to be separate from Kids Taekwondo. Enjoy training at the same time as your children but in different rooms.
Age: From 15 years old and above
Aim: Achieve Senior Blackbelt and beyond

Special Needs
Involve activities that will encourage flexion and extension movements. Circuit training to encourage positive mental attitude at all times. Tone muscles and learn at their own pace. Promote social interaction. Hand-eye coordination drills.
